Kitanohara is a fully developed camping facility with auto sites with full access by car, sites with power outlets, sites with permanent structures, and more. For the general camping area, where tents can be set up freely without divisions, there are also various easy-to-use services available such as hand carts. Both advanced campers and beginner families can enjoy the campsite.

All-weather mountain huts with kitchen, bath, etc., where you can spend time in comfort. There is also a large type, ideal for groups, and dog bungalows available next to the dog run!

Mt. Sanbe, which stands high above sea level where it is less exposed to city lights, is a perfect spot for stargazing. In a 2012 nationwide continuous observation of starlit skies by the Ministry of the Environment, the mountain was ranked number one in Japan for the darkness of the night sky. Be sure to check out the astronomical observation event at The Shimane Nature Museum of Mt. Sanbe “Sahimel.”
