Sanbe Onsen is yet another gift of the region’s volcanic activity. The source of the hot spring is located between Mt. Magosanbe and Mt. Hikageyama. The spring type is a sodium-chloride spring, the spring source temperature is around 37°C, and it also contains iron and other minerals. The hot water that gushes out of the ground is colorless and transparent at first, but soon turns a cloudy light brown. The tiny bubbles in the water are bubbles of carbon dioxide, which gently warm your body.
